They all feature Hawke’s Fully Multi Coated (FMC) lenses. There are many lenses within a binoculars optical system. Hawke’s FMC lenses ensure that both sides of every lens have multiple layers of coating which assist with light transmission and help produce brighter images with improved contrast.
8x25: These are by far the most compact pair of binoculars of the three we offer, they’re robust and perfect for popping in a backpack and taking out and about, they’re lightweight at just 295g. The 8x25 gives you an 8x zoom and a 25mm objective lens diameter. Up your nature walks by keeping weight and size down but still be able to see further in any weather conditions with the high grip rubber armour. Focus on objects/wildlife as close as 2 meters.
8x32: The 8x32 are slightly larger but still compact, having the 8x zoom is great for handheld viewing and an objective diameter of 32mm gives you a wide field of view. These are a great pair of binoculars to take out birding or to have in your house, ready to watch any birds that appear in your garden! These include a tripod mounting thread, meaning you can attach them on a tripod or monopod for more stabilisation when out and about. Perfect for any weather conditions with the high grip rubber armour.
10x42: The 10x42’s will give you the closest image with 10x zoom and a 42mm objective diameter gives the widest field of view, they are slightly larger and heavier at 638g. These are ideal for taking out and sitting in a hide all day or attach them to a monopod or tripod using the tripod mount thread. The precise focusing wheel allows you to focus as close as 2 meters.
