Frequently asked questions about bird box and wildlife camera accessories
Can you put a camera in a bird box?
Of course you can! Check out our specially designed bird box cameras - made to be bird friendly and capture all the action inside such a small wooden home!
What time of year should you put up a bird box?
Whilst you can put your bird box up at any point during the year, the best time to do so is around November/December. This is so your bird box is ready for birds coming back to the UK for nesting and breeding season, from January onwards.
Why are birds not using my bird box?
Birds may not be using your bird box for several reasons. It could be that your bird box is too close to your bird bath or feeder, or that it’s in an area that’s too loud. Another reason could be that your bird box is already inhabited, or a bird has started to nest there ready for breeding season. Have a look inside and see if your bird box needs moving around.
