Full Description
Just because the sun has gone down doesn't mean the wildlife has gone to bed. The HIKMICRO LE15 thermal monocular makes it easier to discover what's moving around after dark by detecting the heat given off by animals, even when they're hidden among long grass, dense vegetation or woodland.
It's a great companion for evening wildlife walks, woodland exploring, watching from a hide or keeping an eye on your garden after sunset. Scan a hedgerow for a fox, pick out a deer moving between the trees or spot a hedgehog making its way through the undergrowth. Thermal imaging can also help reveal smaller mammals such as rabbits, badgers and rodents that are difficult to see with the naked eye.
Thermal isn't just useful at night either. During daylight, it can help you pick out warm-bodied animals against cooler surroundings, making it easier to find wildlife resting in long grass, among crops or around woodland edges.
The LE15 combines a 256 × 192 thermal detector with a 15mm F1.0 lens, providing 1.5× base magnification, a 12.5° field of view and detection of heat sources at distances of up to 750 metres. The narrower view and increased range make it particularly useful when you're scanning further across fields, woodland or open countryside.
Image Pro 3.0 and Zoom Pro technology helps enhance the thermal image, giving you a clearer view when trying to identify an animal or follow its movement. The Shutterless Image System (HSIS) also provides smooth, quiet image processing, helping you observe wildlife without unnecessary noise.
Weighing just around 300g, the LE15 is compact enough to take along on walks without becoming a burden. Its replaceable 18650 battery provides up to 5.5 hours of use, so you can spend an evening exploring without constantly worrying about recharging.
From a fox crossing a field to a hedgehog quietly exploring your garden, the LE15 offers a fascinating way to discover the wildlife that's there, even when you can't see it with your own eyes.
