For customers who wish to to fit the 50mm Opaque Window Daylight Disk Insert into existing birdboxes. This will enable sufficient light into the Bird Box to improve the colour for daytime filming and preserve your camera battery life.
This works particularly well with solar powered cameras enabling easy viewing of the wildlife in your garden without the wires,
However if you're using any of our other cameras we would recommend our led lamp because the lamp gives a much better clearer crisp is there a crispy colour images.
Please note:
This is not an easy drill process and these drill bits are best suited to an overhead drill.
The drill bit is quite large and we would recommend that you have a couple of trial runs (on scrap wood) before attempting to drill the holes in the box.
If you prefer not to risk it we do supply our own Solar Cam Ready Boxes.
Customers are encouraged to check that the camera fit nicely in your box before drilling the holes and this cannot be undone once you have started.
