The eyepiece allows you to cycle through from 9x to 27x magnification. This gives you far more magnification than a standard pair of binoculars. As the magnification on this is greater, we recommend pairing it with a stand or a tripod for stability and a clearer image. This is the perfect partner for anyone who loves bird watching and is looking to be out all day or in a hide and be more hands free. It has a close focus of 2.5 meters. The objective lens is 56mm giving you a wide field of view but keeping the overall size of the scope down.
