In my experience of using these ( this is my third one) the optional Hi Gain aerial seems to work better. Also it is best to keep these units away from any moisture/humid areas as they seem to fail unless protected-(i.e “rust’) in our warmer Australian climate. This unit is working quite well so far but I have upgraded to the Gen 3 WiFi cameras for next breeding season. All over good equipment.
I have just received my detachable antenna receiver for the wireless bird camera and in my experience i can say it has been a big help as i am running 2 green feather wireless bird boxes in different areas of my garden , this box has made it possible to receive 2 good images with the Ariel i have chosen, green feathers top class company who offer top class service and support
Between watching wonderful videos and images of nesting and fledging feathered families, buzzing bees, boisterous badgers, or huddling hedgehogs, we are working hard on designing and building the best products for you to enjoy watching nature and help protect the animals during their hopefully happy life.
