Read full description below to learn all about the Splinters project based at Elm Tree Farm through Brandon Trust.

Is there a better use for recycled wood then giving hedgehogs a place they can feel safe and sound? Engraved with a cute design, these hedgehog houses are built by our lovely friends over on Elm Tree Farm. With hedgehogs currently in decline you can help to give them a secure area to rest away from potential predators.

Each individual item is manufactured by young adults with learning difficulties, so may vary slightly in appearance.

Full Description

Tucked away on a 37-acre site in Bristol. Elm Tre Farm are currently running several projects to support more than 60 people with learning disabilities and/or autism. Helping them to learn transferable skills and gain valuable experience whilst in a positive and relaxed environment.

Everything is made on site and sold through their own farm shop. We would highly recommend visiting to support them, especially if you're in need of some organically grown fruit and vegetables.

We've been happy to support them through their Splinters project. We often found ourselves with leftover pallets with no real use for them. Through Splinters we've been able to donate these so they can be recycled and transformed into a wide range of different wood-based products. These include decorative items for your home and garden alongside wildlife habitats and much more in the future!
