We've all had that feeling of turning on the TV and finding out we just missed one of our favourite programs... You could easily sit and watch it all day, you might even put up with the adverts!
With our Bird Box Camera & Wireless Screen Pack, we've given you the best of both worlds. Your personal bird box tv channel running daily, without every cutting away from the action.
It took us some time to develop this tech. As much as we love having a good natter, we also wanted to make sure we got it right straight from the off. We wanted to make as simple as possible to use and we like to think we got there. Once you've powered up the camera & screen you'll just be a few clicks away from being all setup. Then you're free to skip straight to the fun part, carrying your mini screen all around the house. Because if you what's the point of getting on with those household errands if you can't at least keep on eye on the nest at all times?
The camera & screen is connected to each other using a wireless connection to pair them, with a range of up to 50m (unobstructed). What is also means is you don't have to worry at all about having a WiFi signal reach where you want to hang your birdbox. In terms of quality, the camera will give you true HD 1080p pictures, and has built in day and night LED lamps to give you lovely consistent images. You do also have the option to disable the daytime lamps if your focus is on nocturnal wildlife
You can also add up to 4 extra cameras to give you a whole wildlife production, on all on one screen. Next step, wildlife documentary! Just make sure to include us in the end credits when it blows up.

What’s the difference between your "Wireless" & "WiFi" camera?
This can be slightly confusing for this camera kit! The camera connects to the screen via encrypted Wireless technology. The screen then connects to your home WiFi using 2.4ghz WiFi technology.
Can I watch on my smartphone or tablet?
Yes! Our official Green Feathers app allows you to stream the camera live and watch back recordings.
Which devices does the app work with?
The app works on iPhones, iPads(using iPhone compatibility mode) and Android phones and tablets. The app supports iOS 11.0 or later and Android 6.0 or later. Kindle devices are not currently supported.
What cameras can I use with the screen?
We have a bird box camera and bullet camera specifically designed to work with the screen our other cameras won't work with the screen. However, you can use our 3rd generation cameras on the Green Feathers App alongside the screen kit.
Do I have to power this by the mains?
The camera needs to be powered by the included power supply to work reliably. We have extension cables to add up to 20 metres extra length to the power supply cable. The screen has a power supply and rechargeable battery.
What length of cable does the camera come with?
The power supply included for free in the kit has 3 metres of cable. You can purchase one of our extension cables for up to 20 metres of extra cable length.
Do I have to be connected to my WiFi network to watch the camera?
No, as long as the screen is connected to your WiFi you can connect into your screen even when you are away from home.
Will it work on my TV?
This camera is not designed to work on TVs unlike some of our other cameras that wire into the back of the TV. However, the app works on Apple TV and may also work on smart TVs that support Android apps.
Can the Screen record? For how long?
Yes! The screen features an in-built slot that supports microSD cards up to 128GB in capacity (card not included). This allows the screen to record footage for later playback and it can automatically overwrite older footage when it becomes full.
When recording, it uses about 0.75GB per hour of space, so with a 64GB card, you can expect the camera to record for up to 10 days of footage and 21 days using a 128GB card.
Does this Screen work on my 5 GHz WiFi network?
No, this kit only operates on the 2.4 GHz band. For dual-band WiFi networks with separate network names (SSIDs) connect to the "2G" or "2GHz" version. Some routers now have 2.4 GHz switched off by default and if you're not sure how to re-enable this please contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
