The package came, & on opening it we realised: a) a power source was required (I guess we should have assumed that, but I don't think this was stressed sufficiently in the advert) b) the power supply provided was not suitable for outside use (which limited our positioning of the box & would involve drilling through walls). c) the instructions were badly written, overly generic & incomplete. d) the screws to connect the camera to the holding frame would not fit (which meant we had to cobble together an alternative involving bent paper-clips & elastic bands). On requesting assistance online (again, an overly-complicated process), I was called back a couple of days later by the company. When told about the incorrect parts supplied & the lack of password required.... there was no: 'sorry about that', but instead a very uncaring & perfunctory: 'have you looked online?' I said yes (although frankly I should not have needed to), but was told I hadn't looked at the right one & they'd send it to me. The operative was very obviously desperate to get off the phone & said they couldn't really wait to see me through to the end & left the call. The video guide they supplied was laughable - no audio & written in real-time: 'press this', 'go to that' machine-gunned at an incomprehensible rate of knots... I had to re-run it several times with repeated pauses. Also the instructions suggest Android or iOS & are written in a combined form, this was confusing & separate instructions should have been supplied for both. Generally, although the installed product looks good, the support around it is extremely poor. Clear instructions with an easy to follow pictorial guide are required. Support staff need to be taught what proper customer care is. IT instructions need to be written for the 'general/real' customer (I have 35+ years in IT), these instructions have been written by an IT 'expert' assuming far too much assumed knowledge. Unfortunately, overall a poor experience that turned a potential enjoyable Mother's Day present into an unnecessary frustration.

The box and camera were quickly installed using a combination of manuals and online videos. Once the box had been installed along our fence we immediately had visitors looking over the new nesting spot. We get daily visitors now and hope to see some nesting building start to take place. Great image and loving the alarms to automatically record activity during the day!!! A++++++
