This product in detail

Robust Video

Wireless Transmission

Install the camera in your garden and use the included receiver to pick up both video without the need for video cables. Just connect the camera to a power source and you're ready to go!

Up to 30 Metre Range
The camera has a theoretical transmission range of up to 30 metres in clear line-of-sight but this will be reduced by solid obstructions such as trees, walls and windows.

Wireless Channel Selector

Physical switches allow you to change which wireless channel the camera broadcasts on. This lets you quickly adjust your system if you encounter interference.

Wide-angle Lens

Designed for use in enclosed spaces the camera features a 2.8mm lens. This gives a huge field of view and helps ensure you see more of the inside of the box in the frame.

Night Vision

Invisible infra-red LEDs provide night vision without giving off a red glow that might otherwise disturb the birds.

Compact Size

Fits into almost any bird box

Adjustable focus

The lens can be manually focussed allowing you to fine-tune the picture.

This is a spare camera for our Wireless Bird Box Camera kits. Remember: to watch images on your television you need the receiver and AV cable.

The best feature of all, you won't need an internet signal to reach your bird box for the video to reach your TV. The wireless transmitter communicates with your camera to feed the footage straight from your bird box to your television.

Wireless Camera FAQs

Please read our frequently asked questions to find out information on generic queries.

Does this camera connect over WiFi?

This camera connects wirelessly to the receiver, which is connected to your TV via included cable. The wireless transmitter communicates with your camera to feed the footage straight from your bird box to your television.

Where is the best place to put the receiver?

It is best to place this near your TV, however, please note that solid obstructions such as walls, trees and windows will reduce the range.

Does the camera include night vision?

Yes, the camera uses invisible infrared LEDs which emit no glow and keep recording in dark bird boxes without disturbing the birds. In the dark the camera’s night vision mode ensures 24/7 vision but it produces black and white images.

I am facing interference with frequency; how can this be resolved?

Ensure the transmitter is away from other devices that could be impacting this, Bluetooth and other wireless devices etc. Physical switches allow you to change which wireless channel the camera broadcasts on. An Omni antenna can help eliminate this problem if the channel changes aren’t sufficient.

How is the camera powered?

The camera is connected to a power supply using the included PSU. The camera sends a signal to the receiver, wireless, which then feeds the live image to your TV.
